Through mentorship, education, workforce development, financial literacy, leadership training, and positive community connections, we are creating pathways that help youth and young adults build meaningful, successful lives.
Hunter Oberst
Hunter Oberst founded Future Forward Opportunity Foundation with a vision to empower youth and young adults through mentorship, workforce development, financial literacy, and career readiness programs. Drawing from years of entrepreneurial leadership, sales management, business ownership, and skilled trades experience, Hunter is dedicated to helping young people overcome barriers, discover opportunities, and build successful futures.
Having built a successful career in construction, sales leadership, and business development, Hunter understands the importance of guidance, opportunity, and strong mentorship. His mission is to help young people avoid poverty, incarceration, and hopelessness by providing practical skills, meaningful relationships, and pathways to long-term success.
Through Future Forward Opportunity Foundation, Hunter seeks to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity by connecting young people with mentors, employers, educational resources, and life-changing experiences that empower them to reach their full potential.
Jeffrey Drye
Jeffrey Drye serves as Secretary of Future Forward Opportunity Foundation and brings more than fifteen years of distinguished leadership experience as the Head Wrestling Coach at Jackson High School. Throughout his coaching career, Jeffrey has mentored, developed, and inspired countless student-athletes, emphasizing discipline, perseverance, accountability, leadership, and personal growth.
In addition to his educational leadership, Jeffrey possesses more than a decade of experience within the skilled trades and construction industries. His professional background includes contributing to the development and construction of collegiate athletic facilities and university track systems, requiring exceptional project coordination, technical expertise, and operational excellence.
Jeffrey's unique combination of youth mentorship, workforce experience, and leadership development provides invaluable insight to the Foundation's mission. His commitment to building character, strengthening communities, and preparing young people for success makes him an integral part of the organization's leadership team.
Jared Riggins
Jared Riggins serves as Treasurer of Future Forward Opportunity Foundation and provides extensive expertise in financial management, tax compliance, and organizational accountability. Jared is a proud graduate of Michigan State University and a distinguished Evans Scholar, reflecting a longstanding commitment to academic achievement, leadership, and service.
As a licensed Enrolled Agent (EA), Jared possesses specialized knowledge of federal taxation and financial regulations. Professionally, he works within the tax resolution industry, helping individuals and businesses navigate complex tax matters, resolve financial challenges, and achieve long-term stability.
Jared's financial acumen, analytical expertise, and commitment to responsible stewardship help ensure that donor contributions, grant funding, and organizational resources are managed with transparency and integrity. His leadership strengthens the Foundation's ability to create sustainable programs and maximize community impact for years to come.
Rodney Bahl
Rodney Bahl brings more than 25 years of law enforcement experience and a lifelong commitment to serving his community. Throughout his career, he witnessed firsthand the impact mentorship, accountability, and positive role models can have on young people's lives.
In addition to his public service background, Rodney has experience in sales and relationship development, helping build meaningful connections with individuals, families, and community partners. An avid fisherman and hunter, he is passionate about outdoor experiences that teach responsibility, resilience, leadership, and confidence. Rodney's perspective strengthens Future Forward Opportunity Foundation's mission to guide youth toward opportunity, purpose, and long-term success.
